Share your feedback to help us improve templates 

We’re working to improve templates in Confluence and reimagining how they are created and shared across a site. We’d love to talk to content creators and site/space admins to hear how you’d like templates to work. In particular, we’re focusing on:
 

• Permissions – Who should be able to create, edit, and use templates?
• Organisation & sharing – How templates should be shared across users, teams, spaces, or the entire site.
• Admin controls – What controls are important for admins to manage, and what could be more self‑serve or democratised.
• AI‑powered templates – How AI could help you move faster by generating templates and automatically populating content when you insert them.
• General feedback – What you like about templates today, what’s challenging, and what you’d most like to see improved.

Yeeeees please! I would love to talk about templates and everything involved.

I love templates, but unfortunately the in-tool functions are weak (compared to what's possible with third-party apps) and there are many things I miss. From customizations of the create-from-template button to variables to use for templates, to the fact that we still don't have blog templates.
