Announcing: Kudos points for Atlassian Learning courses! 📚

We’re super excited to announce that from today onwards, you can earn kudos points for completing Atlassian Learning courses! 🥳

Since March 2025, learners have been receiving badges for completing courses. These are displayed on your profile under Most Recent Courses:

The list of courses completed also appears on the badges page:

In the past, earning course badges didn’t impact your points or levels within the kudos programme.

Over the next few months, we’ll be integrating Learning activities with the kudos programme - and this is our first step! 🙌

Starting today, when you complete a learning course, you’ll receive 300 kudos points as well as a badge.

Please note, these points per course will only apply to courses completed from today on, and they will not apply to the courses you completed prior.

For those of you who previously received badges for completing learning courses, we’re awarding a one time Legacy Learner badge worth 750 points!

We’ll be awarding the Legacy Learner badge over the next month, so if you’re one of the thousands of eligible learners, you’ll see it on your profile in the near future. 🎓

We’re super excited to see our wonderful community members start earning points for learning! Check out the Learning catalog to find your next course. All of our on-demand Learning content is completely free!

If you’d like to connect with other learners for recommendations on what might be a good course for you, join our Training & Certification group.

Keep an eye out for more kudos updates over the coming months 💙

I liked - but I feel like Im missing 36 x 300 kudos each == 10800 and will receive only 750 lol

@Patricia Francezi_iDev_ well I just sent you some "above and beyond" recognition, so now you're only 9950 short!

@Angelie how about adding in a way for us to reset courses we've already done (without losing the badge we've earned) so people can redo them and gain the kudos; even if only the quizzes for the course.  This would be useful anyway as when I review a course I've done I would like to be able to reset the quiz so I can review my understanding of the course.

@Stephen_Lugton that's a cool idea! I'll talk to the Learning team about that possibility.

@Stephen_Lugton wanted to close the loop here - from an eng perspective, resetting the quiz isn't recommended with the way it's built today.  The team recently added functionality to let users review the quiz to refresh their memories but not re-take the quiz from scratch. (Previously the quiz would just disappear forever.)

Sorry that resetting it isn't feasible currently but we'll keep it on the list for future consideration!

Love this idea and will be on the lookout for the Legacy Learners Badge.
