Gamification, well... what for ?

  • For some people, posting to show they're active, instead of focusing on their topics ?
  • To flatter some egos ?

The notification config seems to be broken for Badges.  In my profile, I turned off notifications for Badges, yet they still pollute my Activity Feed (also activating the alert badge on the Activity Feed).
