This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Publishing a Website on Bitbucket Cloud

could i publish a static website for my team like this (appcatalyst.bitbucket.org as opposed to erikaltman.bitbucket.org)?

You could probably use aerobatic to make something similar to this happen: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/aerobatic-bitbucket-addon/cloud/overview

You could easily get appcatalyst.aerobatic.org and you can even add in your own custom domains.

Thanks for mentioning Aerobatic, Robert!  One quick note for others - our hosted domain is aerobatic.io for apps.

Hi Erik,

Bitbucket static sites are reserved only for yourusername.bitbucket.org; we do not support custom subdomains. As Robert suggests, Aerobatic is an option that provides a custom subdomain for your static site.

Thanks

Alastair
