I'm looking to see if there is a way to define in repo or project properties to always clone to a certain location to maintain project static directory path mapping. Essentially it is a pre-specified "working directory" location.
NOTE: Previously we used Serena PVCS that offered this feature.

The short answer is no, Git/Bitbucket does not have such a setting. You could create a script that does it for you and distribute that to each client. If you are using Sourcetree you can set a project folder so each clone will be created under that directory.
