repo is over the size limit

i want to push my project to bitbucket, but i found message Repository is over the size limit (2 GB) and will not accept further additions. what i should do ? 
in fact, size my project under 1 GB, but in bitbucket my size project is more than 2GB.

Hi there, welcome to the Community!

I've checked your Bitbucket Cloud account but couldn't find the repo you're referring to. Can you tell us the name of the account it belongs to?

Usually, if there's a mismatch between the local size of your repository and the remote size, it will go back to normal once the garbage collection is run on the remote. Normally it happens automatically but, if it doesn't, we can do it manually for you.
