renewal penalty

Hi Support,

Would like to know once the first year maintenance is expired, skip second year renewal and then only renew maybe in third year, will there be having penalty for this way?

Hi Lee,

There won't be any penalty, but in the second year you will not be eligible for support until you renew your license. Do note that Data Center is using an annual license, so you need to renew the license every year if you wish to continue using it, whereas Server licenses are perpetual and will continue to work (although there are some restrictions on which versions you can upgrade to).
