I logged in today to bitbucket and got this:

 

Are you using the right account?


You are logged in with your Atlassian account for ********, but you haven’t yet signed up for Bitbucket Cloud with this account. (where ******** is my email address)

 

I'm trying to access my account at https://bitbucket.org/zhangweiwu/ and my password manager suggests that I have no other atlassian account other than the one I just used to login. Need some help to login. I created the bitbucket account 4 years ago and had just used it 2 months ago.

Hi, welcome to the Community!

I've checked the email address associated to your Atlassian account and I could see it's set as an alias of your Bitbucket Cloud account, it's not the primary email address so you won't be able to log in with that one. Do you remember what's the primary email address associated with your Bitbucket account? To give you a hint, it fits here w*********g@c******.au

Doesn't work.


1) login as w*********g@c******.au and access bitbucket - successful.


2) change email address of bitbucket account, in

https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/email


    3) received an email:

Hi zhangweiwu,
 
Your email change request could not be processed because a*********d is already associated with another Atlassian account.
 

If you didn't request this change you can disregard this email.
