will i be able to build .net applications in the future?

Some users have had luck building .NET core applications. See the answers to this question:

There aren't any immediate plans to support Windows-based builds (which I imagine would be required for full .NET support) but we're certainly not ruling it out for the future.

Have your plans changed since last year?  We would love to use bitbucket instead of VSTS for a fully integrated Gira solution.
