i was tried to merge and failed.

Hello Naga. You might want to check this stackoverflow for some help. You are running into this issue because Bitbucket cannot calculate the difference between the two branches. It is quite literally "unrelated branches".

To solve this the stackoverflow article suggests rebasing. This will work but do note that rebasing can be a dangerous action to do as you need history rewrite for this.

In case you need to push, double check the local repository if the changes made after rebase is how you expect them to be. This never hurts and prevents loss of work.
