Hi,
Is there any way to export all repository of the project of bitbucket.
can anyone let me know or any document steps related to this.
Thanks
DJM
Hey DJM,
It's unclear whether or not you're using Bitbucket Server or Cloud. If you're using Bitbucket Server than you should watch and follow this feature request BSERV-4586. For now the workaround is to clone and push the repositories as needed, although, you will lose your pull request history, permissions, etc. Please clarify what you would like to export Cloud repositories to if that's not what you meant.
Hi Ben,
we are using on premises and not the cloud instance.
so this is one of the wishlist as mention in
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-4586?_ga=2.167495097.668506213.1525017910-2124749176.1524206783 for on premises
so current way is just to clone and push this where it is need this only permission of that project and pull request history will be lost.
what if i can do fork instead of clone will you suggest us to go with this
Thanks

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to achieve. Are you trying to backup data or export it to a different instance? If you are trying to backup data, you should be using Data recovery and backups. If you are trying to export to a different instance of Bitbucket, we don't have a great method for this other than to clone and push to another instance. I don't think that forking would apply in this scenario.

Hi Ben,
No we are not doing this for backup data.we have data center version of Atlassian which has this recover instance also. This was one of the question we have been ask recently is there any way to export the project from BitBucket as it has in Jira so just as work around we were thinking of doing clone or fork or using Rest-API
Thanks
