I have successfully managed to clone the repo on my local machine, but when I try to do it on an AWS machine, it doesn't work:

git clone https://myworkspace@bitbucket.org/myworkspace/myrepo.git

It says it's cloning and then prompts me for my bitbucket password:

Cloning into 'myrepo'...
Password for 'https://myworkspace@bitbucket.org':

The option for typing in the password doesn't really exist, the cursor stays at the start of the line  no matter how much typing I do.

Then, when I press ENTER:

remote: Invalid username or password
fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://bitbucket.org/myworkspace/myrepo.git/'

Perhaps it's worth mentioning that my Bitbucket account has a 2 step authentication process, but like I've mentioned,  I had no problem cloning the repo on my local machine.
