it seems that my workspace has reached over 1GB

Enumerating objects: 17193, done.
Writing objects: 100% (17193/17193), 774.32 MiB | 16.75 MiB/s, done.
Total 17193 (delta 0), reused 0 (delta 0), pack-reused 17193 (from 1)
remote: Resolving deltas: 100% (6239/6239), done.
remote: This workspace is over the 1 GB size limit. Reduce the size of your workspace or upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan to increase the size limit.

in the workspace settings I see that the workspace is about 2.34 GB
however I'm using an academic user and for some reason can't change the plan accordingly

Hi David,

I checked the workspaces your Bitbucket account has access to. The workspace with a size of 2.3 GB is currently on the Free plan, not on Academic. I see that you already requested an Academic license for that workspace. I have asked my team if the 1 GB limit also applies on Academic plans, I'll let you know as soon as I have an update.

In the meantime, if you want, I can trigger a garbage collection for this workspace's repositories. This may help reduce their size. I'm not sure if that will bring the total workspace's size below 1 GB, but it's something we can try. Would you like me to do that?

Kind regards,
Theodora
