authentication failure

For some reasons, I am not able to push to my Bitbucket repo. I tried changing my Bitbucket password, but it does not help.

The error I got is just "fatal: Authentication failed"

My friend use the exact same setup and we were able to push just fine. Thus, I think there is something wrong with my account.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am hoping this is the correct place to ask this question.

Check your account. Authentication failure indicates something about your username/password. Ask your admin about it.

Are you using HTTP or SSH? Have you double checked your permissions on the repo and the branch you are trying to push to? Can you push to any other repos or branches?
