Hello Bitbucket Team,
I would like to report several issues related to linking Xcode Cloud with Bitbucket Cloud. At the moment, the integration does not seem to be possible due to the recent deprecation of app passwords.
As stated in your announcement:
“As of September 9, 2025, app passwords can no longer be created. Use API tokens with scopes instead. All existing app passwords will be disabled on June 9, 2026. Migrate any integrations before then to avoid disruptions.”
However, in Xcode → Settings → Source Control, the login flow still requires an app password, which makes it impossible to authenticate using the new API tokens. Attempting to authenticate via SSH also does not resolve the issue.
My account has admin permissions both in the repository and in the organization.
In addition, when trying to connect to Bitbucket—even through the web interface—I receive the message:
“Bitbucket Cloud installation was incomplete.”
There are also login-related issues:
Logging in using my Bitbucket username is no longer accepted (previously it worked).
Login via email works, but the session occasionally drops for no clear reason.
I would also like to note that everything works correctly with GitHub, which suggests the issue is specific to Bitbucket’s authentication or integration flow.
Could you please investigate these issues and confirm whether there is an ongoing problem with Bitbucket Cloud authentication or the integration path for Xcode Cloud?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
