Why don't branch restriction won't prevent merging PRs ?

But it didn't prevent a developper (that doesn't have write accress to develop) to merge a PR with a failed build : 

How come ? Is it a bug ?

Hi @Nino

You need to select Prevent a merge with unresolved merge checks option which is available only on premium plans to make the check required instead of recommended.

Alternatively, you can use Flowie, a Bitbucket cloud app we offer, that can also enforce merge checks and comes with more built in checks, labels, and configuration flexibility among other features.

Flowie is also available via Atlassian marketplace.
