I received an email to join a Team on Bitbucket. When I have to sign in I'm directly transferred to the list of my repositories/overview.
With other accounts they are asked to accept the invitation. This does not happen for my account.
I don't see the team in the Teams section and I don't have access to the repositories of the team.
Hello Makandra,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Reading the details you provided, it seems that you are not being redirected to the right link or the person who added you to the team, removed your account, so when you click to the link, you are not redirected to join the team.
Have you tested accepting the invite using the incognito mode? With this test, you will confirm that you are not logged in using any other account.
Also, can you please ask the user who sent you the invite to remove and add you again to generate a new invitation?
Regards,
Angélica
Hello Angélica,
thanks for your response. Yes I'm not redirect to the right link (I have tested it with another account).
I have logged in and out of this account, also with incognito mode. I have received the link already multiple times but with no difference in behavior.
So the problem still persists.
Best regards,
Stefan

Thank you for testing, Stefan.
We can see that your account is associated with only one Bitbucket site.
Can you please confirm with the Bitbucket admin who sent you the invitation to confirm if the site is a free tier?
The Bitbucket free has a 5 user limit, so if they invite anyone else that past the user limit, the invitation link will not work because there are no more seats available.
To fix this they can upgrade their site to standard or remove users to reduce the user count.

Hi Angélica,
the team that sent the invite is on the Standard Plan. I just received another invite but it's still not working.
Best regards,
Stefan

Thank you for the information, Stefan.
We found a post with a similar issue and the steps may help you resolve your issue as well.
They resolved the issue by sending the invitation to the bitbucket username instead of the email address. Can you please ask the admin to do that?

Hello Angélica,
thanks for the link. I don't think the situation applies to my case as I can see the same mail address associated in my bitbucket account.
Nevertheless I tried to send the invite via username but the dialogue to add team members only allows email addresses.
So I was not able to follow this suggestion as the system does not allow it.
The account is still not able to join the team.
Best regards,
Stefan

Thank you Stefan.
Checking internally, we believe that it will be better to create a ticket with the Bitbucket support, so they can check your email or if you are using an alias, since here in Community we don't share any private information. On a ticket, only us from Atlassian and you will have access, so you can share your email there.
Since the email you are using in community returns Thomas as the full name and you are Stefan and also on the support form it's necessary to add your Bitbucket username, I'd suggest you create the ticket, so you can share more information in the description.
Please, go to support.atlassian.com to raise the request.
