Hi
Logging in after a few years, and my 50+ repos seem to have disappeared.
Can't see my workspace(s) either.
Please help!
Hello @Gaurav Mittal
Most likely they are gone. Bitbucket cleanup of free unused workspaces: what ... - Atlassian Community
Navigate to your https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces, select View deactivated workspaces, if you can´t find here anything, after so long Inactivity time, they will be gone probably.
Best,
Arek🤠
Thanks for your response.
I don't see any link/button to 'View deactivated workspaces'
Any way to get the repositories back now?
I never got any email about this deletion - I've just checked.
The last email I have is from 2023 about changing SSH keys.
Deeply appreciate any help I could get in getting my repos back!

Yes it was a free account.
Tried https://bitbucket.org/account/workspaces/deactivated
Nothing visible there either :(

I requested assistance. At this point, that's beyond what we can inspect or help with.
An Atlassian Support engineer will respond within two business days.

While you wait on that engineer, go and look at your old machines, because that route doesn't depend on what Support finds.
Every machine you ever cloned those repos onto still holds a complete copy. A git clone carries the full history, not a working snapshot, so an old laptop, a backup drive, a CI worker or a colleague's fork is a real repository you can push somewhere new. Nothing about the server side changes that. If any of those still exist, that's the fastest route back to your code regardless of what Support finds.
On why the deactivated page was empty, the published behaviour is that the view is conditional: "If you have deactivated workspaces, an information box will appear with a link to view them." An empty page means nothing of yours is currently sitting in the deactivated state, which is a different thing from your having looked in the wrong place.
For context on the timeline you fell into, since a free account from mid 2023 is squarely inside it. "We'll be deactivating these workspaces starting January 15, 2026, making all content inaccessible", the reactivation window ran to May 15, 2026 and was admins only, and "After May 15, 2026, workspaces that remain deactivated will be permanently deleted, along with their content." I'd let Support tell you where yours actually landed rather than assume the worst from that.
Your missing warning is covered too, and it isn't something you did. "Atlassian will attempt to notify all impacted users via email", and the same passage allows that if contact details were stale or you'd unsubscribed, "you may not receive these notifications". A 2023 SSH-key mail being your most recent one fits that.
