What goes into the Stash database?

Perhaps you can just point me to the right documentation.  I looked but didn't find the answers.

What goes into the Stash database?  My guess would be the stash application data, users, projects, groups, etc, but does any git metadata get stored in the Stash database?

I am using Stash 3.7.1 and postgreSQL 9.2.7

How big can I expect the database to grow?

What are the recommended backup/restore procedures?

If any git metadata is stored in the database, can it be regenerated?

Is there a recommended procedure for moving the database to another file system?
