What exactly is "Code Insight Report"?

Mark

In Repository settings -> Code Insights, I have setup "test" as required report" with "MUST PASS". However I fail to find anywhere to create such "report".

Is it a future feature?

Hi @Mark

Code Insight surfaces information relevant to a pull request, so the author and reviewers are able to make better informed decisions. Information supplied could include:

  • static analysis reports
  • security scan results
  • artifact links etc.

It includes an API, and a UI so apps created by a third-party can supply data to be surfaced on the pull requests.

The information comprises two parts; annotations and reportsThe generated reports show summary information sent by any integration to Bitbucket Server. Annotations show specific information on a given line in the pull request, and are attached to a report.

You can find more information on the following links:

Do you mean "Code Insight" is an API feature? I have to purchase 3rd party solution or develop my own module? In other word, I could not generate Insight report with OOTB BitBucket?
