Is it possible to get Jira Server (not Jira Cloud) issues showing in bitbucket cloud? When I hit Atlassian Integrations in bitbucket cloud, I only see my Jira cloud instance and no place to add my Jira Server.

edit: can someone move this to bitbucket, no idea how it got posted in confluence. Sorry for the mess up (I’m new here)

Hi Alex,

Welcome to the community!

It is possible to integrate a Bitbucket workspace with a JIRA Server instance. You can find instructions on how to do this in the following documentation:

I'm afraid that it is not possible to view linked JIRA issues in the "Jira issues" page of a repository, this page works only for integrations with JIRA Cloud instances.

However, what you can do after you complete the integration is reference JIRA issue keys in commit messages of repos owned by the workspace, and the JIRA issue keys will turn into a link for the respective issue. You can view in a JIRA issue commits associated with it and you should also be able to use smart commits.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!

Kind regards,
Theodora
