Use one runner exclusively

Achim Kreß

We want to tie a pipeline to one specific runner (cloud, not self-hosted). Is it possible to configure my pipeline, so that it will always run on the very same host with the same MAC, user and IP address etc.? This is important for our internal network configuration, since the pipeline is going to communicate with servers in our enterprise infrastructure.

G'day, @Achim Kreß

I don't understand your inquiries here, but do you plan to have the Bitbucket pipeline (cloud) run on your infrastructure? If yes, then no, it's not possible. You'll have to use Runner and have it installed in your local environment.

Please provide more context if this is not what you were looking for.

@Syahrul, thanks for the reply. Here the answer:
We are planning to use the pipeline in Atlassian infrastructure. The pipeline will need to communicate with our own corporate infrastructure. For that purpose, it would be necessary to have a fix IP and MAC address to comply with our internal network requirements. So we probably would need to tie the pipeline to a specific runner in Atlassian infrastructure. Is that possible?

Hi @Achim Kreß

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, a static IP for the Bitbucket pipeline is not currently possible.

We have a list of IPs you can whitelist, please check them at:
