ello Bitbucket Support Team,
I am writing to request the immediate reactivation of my workspace.
My workspace was deactivated claiming “lack of activity”, even though it contains active repositories with recent commits and is actively used for ongoing development work. This is not the first time this has happened.
This sudden deactivation is causing real business prejudice and interrupting my work. Everything in the workspace is active and in use — repositories are not abandoned.
I have already tried accessing the deactivated workspaces page without success.
Please reactivate the workspace as soon as possible and confirm when it is available again.
[REDACTED]
I would also appreciate clarification on why an active workspace keeps being flagged as inactive.
Thank you for your prompt attention.
Best regards, Daniel
Hi Daniel,
Just letting you know I've redacted the workspaceID you've included in your post to protect your privacy (as this is a public forum).
The workspace you mentioned in your comment is not de-activated. I can confirm that it is in an active state.
The workspace, however, is currently over the 5 user plan limit for the Free plan (8 users). This causes the workspace to enter a READ-ONLY state which prevents you from pushing commits to your workspace repositories.
You will either need to remove 3 users from the workspace, or upgrade to a paid plan which does not have this same restriction.
Kind Regards,
- Ben (Bitbucket Cloud Support)
