Upgrade bitbucket server on linux

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Running the Bitbucket Server installer

I moved our installation of Bitbucket server from windows to linux. I would like to try upgrading it.

We are using RHEL 7 with no interface. Will the installer work? The documentation for the console install only referenced Mac and Windows.

Hi Owen,

Yes, the installer will work to perform the upgrade with just the command line. The Bitbucket Server upgrade guide documentation provides a bit more detail (included instructions for how to use console in Linux installations.
