Hi @Vasu Reddy

Creating an Atlassian account is not always enough by itself to start using Bitbucket immediately.

Bitbucket Cloud now expects you to either:
- join an existing workspace, or
- create a workspace in Atlassian Administration

Also, new users no longer get a personal workspace created automatically the way they used to.

So if you can log in but can’t create repos/projects, I would check:
1. whether you actually have a Bitbucket workspace yet
2. whether your organization restricts workspace creation
3. whether you need an invite to an existing workspace instead of creating your own

The most likely issue is that you have an Atlassian account, but not an accessible Bitbucket workspace yet.

Hi @Vasu Reddy

  1. Go to the following URL: admin.atlassian.com

  2. Log-in to your Atlassian Administration account.

  3. Select the org where you wish to create the Bitbucket Cloud workspace
  4. Select Atlassian apps in the left navigation.

  5. Select the Add app button.

  6. Select Bitbucket from the list of apps.

  7. Name your workspace. Workspace ID is auto-created in accordance with your workspace name.

  8. Select the Agree and add button to create your workspace in Atlassian Administration and agree to the Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If you don't have the option of adding Bitbucket Cloud as an app, it's because you're using an older organisation which is not compatible with this functionality - in which case you'll need to create a new org and follow the same steps as above:

Cheers!
