When I login or reset my org email id password to access BitBucket all I get is a message that my account has been deactivated. I tried all means, but I can't even raise a support ticket because even for that I need to login. hence, I am raising this query to the community with my personal ID to find out how to reactivate my organization email id. My colleges are able to use their org email id except for me.

Hi @sachindoshi ,

Do you have an internal IT department that handles this stuff? Your Bitbucket/Atlassian admin should be able to help out with this, as they can take a look at the user directory in admin.atlassian.com and check the status of your account. 👈
They can follow the instructions here: Deactivate a managed account / Reactivate an account

If, by any chance, the account is unmanaged, you can follow these steps: Reactivate an unmanaged Atlassian Cloud account 📚

Also, as it says in the message, you should have received an email with the contact details of the person you can reach.

One more thing: if you get stuck and still need official assistance, you can raise a ticket here: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing
Use something like Your Account > Log in issues and fill out the rest. 🎟️

Cheers,
Tobi

Thank you for the reply, I do not receive any email as the screenshot suggests of the next step that is also another issue.

Also, I cannot raise a support ticket because it requires me to login so I am stuck there as well.
I have raised a ticket with my IT team and they do not know what to do with it.

Is there a way I can share my org email id with support by giving them a call ? Or any other means to reactivate my org email id. We are working on ongoing project and I  unable to contribute due to this challange.

@sachindoshi when you open Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing, select Continue without logging in

2026-09-01_10-47-35.png

  1. Next select Your Account
  2. Topic: Log in issues
  3. Click on Need more help?
  4. Skip URL/SEN/EN (or add URL if you'd like). Click on Need more help?
  5. Add text to Your Question part and below that you'll have Submit button

There's no need to log in via this specific channel (nor do you need to have a paid license to raise a ticket).

However, my suggestion is that your Atlassian administrator raise a technical ticket here: Atlassian Support, as this is the main channel for these kinds of requests. 👈

Either way, the support team should be able to provide some insights and guide you/your admin in the right direction.

Hi @sachindoshi

Welcome to the community.

It seems that your Bitbucket Cloud account is marked as a dormant account due to not logging in to Bitbucket.org for a long period of time.

I went ahead and reactivated it.

Could you try logging in again?

Regards,
Mark C
