I am new to Atlassian Bitbucket. I have been working on a project and I wanted to share my progress/work with my team member through this platform. I am not having any paid subscriptions/plan yet.

My team mate created an account as well, and I created private repos.

However, from the image below, you can see that when I tried to share the repo, it displays that no results where found during the search of the user. I have confirmed that the user account, starting with that name exists. Is there something that I am missing. Thanks for your help.

Hello Jagadeesh and welcome to the Community!

Looks like you’re making excellent progress through using and understanding the tool. You’re in the right place to add a user within the groups but we missed a step in the process. You must invite your users into your repo to have permissions and be visible to be added. With this said, you’ll need to invite users to have them be available. Here is the process to invite users: Add users to a team and Create and grant access to team repositories.

If you run through this and you’re still having issues please reach back out, we want to ensure you’re up and running!

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
