I want to add a BitBucket account to SourceTree with a basic authentication, but when I enter my credentials first in the username with my full email address I got:

Authentication Failed:

InvalidURI: The hostnaem could not be parsed.

Second only with my username and I got:

Authentication Failed:

Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: Y. Path '', line 0, position 0.

@msaucedo,

Can you check if the steps taken by Nancy in this post help?

Can you confirm this is Bitbucket Cloud (https://bitbucket.org)?

Cheers,

Hello! Are you logging into Bitbucket Server, or Bitbucket Cloud?

I think this is a defect, I discovered the same thing during our AD migration, I have logged it as a bug, SRCTREEWIN-8648

Can you please specify the version of Sourcetree and the platform on which you are using it (windows/macOS)?
