I couldn't upgrade my Bitbucket plan and the message displayed is follows:
"Unable to change plan - We are unable to change your plan because the credit card associated with your account is invalid."
The credit card details furnished is valid, but the message says different. Need expedited support to resolve the issue.
I have got the same credit card getting charged every bill without any issues for other products and offerings.

I think that the “invalid credit card” error usually doesn’t mean your card is actually invalid.. it’s probably a generic billing validation failure. Even valid cards can be rejected due to things like billing address mismatch, bank-side soft declines, region/tax inconsistencies or outdated stored payment details.
Atlassian’s official docs exist but are high-level and don’t explain specific errors, so if re-adding the card and double-checking details doesn’t work, the only reliable way forward is contacting directly licensing support to see the real backend decline reason.

Please raise a ticket with our billing/licensing team as @Mirek mentioned - if you encounter issues, please let me know your timezone so I can raise one on your behalf:
Cheers!
