Hi, I unintentionally have two Atlassian organisations — one with Jira and one with Bitbucket. I'm trying to consolidate them but running into several issues:
1. In Bitbucket workspace settings, all users show as 'Invited' — including myself and another developer who have been using it without any issues for a while. This seems like a display bug.
2. When I try to invite a new user to the Bitbucket workspace (directly via Bitbucket settings, with the correct email), they see 'Create a workspace' when logging into Bitbucket, and get 'Resource not found' when going directly to the workspace URL.
3. I suspect my account may be in a broken state.
I'm on a free plan so I can't raise a support ticket. At this point I'm not even sure if it's possible to add new users to my Bitbucket workspace at all. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it? Is there a way to merge the two organisations so everything is under one?
Both of the workspaces you have access to (they have very similar names) tied to the user account you've used to raise this post are managed solely within Atlassian Admin and are linked to seperate organisations. Invitations and group management are handled within the Atlassian Admin portal rather than the Bitbucket Cloud UI (this was for legacy workspaces).
1. Can you please clarify where exactly within Workspace Settings that you are seeing this invited status?
2. This should be handled in the same manner you would invite users to JIRA or other products, within Atlassian Admin > Apps > Atlassian Apps > Bitbucket Workspace > Manage and then adding new users within the users group (should be named in the format bitbucket-users-workspaceID)
3. There is no way of merging organisations or unlinking workspaces from organisations, unfortunately
Cheers!
