Tab not working in Markdown

When I want to tab a line, the tab cursor jumps to the Comment field. Why?

Unfortunately tab in wiki markup will not work. There is no easy way. 

Perhaps here there will be a suitable symbol for indentation of a similar tab: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=texteffects
