TM Symbol being replaced with Question mark symbol

When committing the a line of code that has a TM symbol in a text, it turns into question mark symbol. How do I turn that auto correction off?

Are you referring to using the online editor? Ie committing a line of code via the UI? Or are you referring to the UI view of a commit diff?
