Stash license cost when connected to JIRA with < 2000 users

Ivan Kovnatsky

Hi guys,

Maybe someone can clarify this.  We want initially to test out Atlassian Stash, and purchase license for 10 users.  But also, there's a need to connect our JIRA with Stash. Our JIRA is connected to Crowd service with about 2000 users.  So, is it okay, we connect our JIRA with Stash.  We'll be managing Stash users internally in standalone Stash installation.

Thanks,
Ivan.

The cost of the Stash licence depends on the number of Stash users, not the number of users in the user directory it is connected to. So yes, you can connect the Jira/Crowd to the Stash instance with much fewer users.

Balazs, thanks.  Understood.
