Stash: how to modify the new repository instructions

Deleted user
February 18, 2016

When a Stash repo is created, a page is displayed with the corresponding git commands to init the repo.  Is it possible to alter this page?  If so, how is that accomplished?  --Bill

Hi Bill,

The template of this page can be found under the Bitbucket Server install directory, at /atlassian-bitbucket/static/bitbucket/internal/page/repository/empty/empty-repository.soy.

After some research I found an Answers topic from 2013, about the customisation of this page - please check it at https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/233573. Please review the comment posted by Charles - he mentions it's not recommended to change this, but provides a few ideas on how to implement the changes.

Regards,

Gustavo Refosco
