Stash 500 Error

We use Atlassian Stash v2.8.3 and today we got a 500 err when try to browse a project. Here is the error message:

An error occurred while executing an external process: '/usr/bin/git cat-file -t refs/heads/develop:' exited with code 128 saying: error: object file ./objects/ab/712feb2927de1eb795a2aebf49ed22b3547e12 is empty fatal: loose object ab712feb2927de1eb795a2aebf49ed22b3547e12 (stored in ./objects/ab/712feb2927de1eb795a2aebf49ed22b3547e12) is corrupt

How to fix this issue. Please help.

Hi @M Muir,

Please have a look at the steps on the Recommended Action plan if a Repository Becomes Corrupted on a Bitbucket Server article and let us know if they help.

They have been written with Bitbucket Server, the new name for Stash, in mind but they still apply also for older versions of Stash.
