I upgraded from 3.0.4 to 3.7.0 and SpringMVC won't start.  I've changed the STASH Home directory to be the owner and group of all the files and restarted.  Still getting the error

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting Stash 3.7.0 up and running.

The Stash log should contain more information about the exception that prevented Stash from starting up correctly. The Stash log file is in your Stash home directory under log/atlassian-stash.log.  I don't know about your environment, but the issue is potentially a plugin that is not compatible with Stash 3.7.0 that is preventing startup.

If the log does not provide any clues then I would suggest raising a Support request through https://support.atlassian.com/, where you can attach your logs and our support team help you out and get any further information required.
