I've been getting some issues with Sourcetree since last week and it's something to do with Bitbucket and it deprecating something to do with the owners now being deprecated.
I've asked on the Sourcetree discussion as well and they've suggested asking here too.
From what I can see, my Workspace has been updated which from what I've seen was the main reason that this issue might be happening.
Basically, whenever I go into the remote tab on SourceTree, it crashes out. Before I updated to the latest version, it gave me a 2770 error code and said that owners was deprecated.
Does anyone have any ideas what's going on at all?
Hi @Vinnydude ,
You're seeing that CHANGE-2770 warning/error? I did some digging for some other post and 'found' this:
Are you by any chance on the Bitbucket paid plan so you can reach support directly?
Cheers,
Tobi
@Aaron Baker This is actually an answer I wanted to post on your original post. I do believe the community management team reached out to you in the meantime and forwarded what happened.
Apologies from my side once again!

Hi Tomislav,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I was seeing the error code 2770, that was before I updated to the latest version, now anything remote related, SourceTree just crashes!
I followed your link to contact support but it just went to a Jira board and I couldn't see anywhere to actually report an issue!
It is definitely related to scope changes yeah, something to do with the owners being deprecated now.

@Vinnydude, I've asked someone from the Forums support team to chime in and potentially raise a ticket in your name. I've seen a couple of CHANGE-2770 related issues, so it would be great to maybe have some official response here as well around that 👀

Hi Tomislav,
That is fantastic, thank you so much for the assistance.
I'm managing with just using git on the command line absolutely fine, but it would be really nice to gte this back up and running!

The latest version of Sourctree (4.2.17) has a fix for this, and as soon as I upgraded from 4.1.16, the problem went away for me.
