Slack/Bitbucket bot identity & access

Oz Linden

I would like to use the newer Bitbucket Cloud for Slack integration, but I want to limit the access rights it has on bitbucket.

When I went through the initial install, it wanted to confirm my identity so I did that, but it then became clear that it was using mine - since I have admin access to all our repositories and teams that isn't appropriate (and so I deleted the integration).

I already have a bitbucket account that has the appropriate access (mostly read-only - it's for our build farm to be able to watch for commits and read).

How do I associate that identity with the integration module instead of my personal account?
