Repository Size is 1.8 G for unknown reason

Simon Couture May 16, 2018

Hello,

This morning we receive warnings from bitbucket because our repository is 1.8 G.

Yesterday it was less than 800 MB, and nothing has been commited to reach 1.8 G.

If I locally cloned the repository, the bundle has 545 MB.

We need help to fix this. Since, nothing has been commited yesterday to reach that repository size.

After contacting the supports, stripping a commit affects the size of your repository, even if you push back all the stripped commits.

The action of stripping is kept in a backup folder on their own. But this backup folder is calculated in the repository size.
