Repository Size Warning persists after local cleanup

Deleted user June 1, 2018

Hi Guys,

I hit the 1GB soft limit yesterday, and started cleaning up locally. I've made a lot of progress, and my local repo is now a sensible 60MB.

However online it is still showing as 1.5GB.

Do I need to run a git gc online as well? If I do need to do that, how do I do that?

My repo is https://bitbucket.org/_rockstar/dev-server/

Regards,

David

Hi David! I've checked your account and the only repo that I could see it's already less than 60MB. A git gc is run automatically on the remote, but it's not immediate, so sometimes it will take some time after you see the right size.

Can we help you with something else?

Cheers!

Ana

Hi Ana,

Apologies, after checking this ticket earlier today, I noticed the related content section.

In another ticket there was a link to create a support ticket directly, so I did that.

I forgot to come and update this ticket, I'm really sorry!

Regards,

David

Hi David, no worries :) You got the help you needed and that's what matters! However, for the future, it is a good practice to keep the posts here updated too as your answers can help other users with the same issue.

Have a good day!

Ana
