I am also experiencing the same issue . I ran the BFG repo cleaner and successfully reduced repo size. However on bitbucket it still shows that Imy repo is greater than 3GB. Please help

I checked the repos you have access to and I found one repo with a size of 3 GB. I ran a git gc on it and its size has been reduced.

Can you see the updated size for the repo?

Just a heads up, I moved your post to a new question.
