Regarding webhooks for jenkins in bitbucket

Hi

I tried to add webhooks for jenkins. But whenever i try to add the url of the jenkins. It says "invalid url".What should i do ?

my jenkins is hosted in http://localhost:8080/

Your Jenkins instance must be accessible over the internet, otherwise Bitbucket webhooks won't be able to reach it. If you are running Jenkins on your personal machine, Bitbucket has no way of delivering webhooks to it unless you use a tool like ngrok to expose localhost to the public internet.
