Friends,
Trying to regain access to bitbucket account due to developer leaving and the email address domain was hijacked and I don't have a key.
There is not access to direct chat with person or email. I tried to send the support email but I go through all the questions using different topics ( migration / email login ) yet it wound execute an email.
I created this account just to get access to community with hope to resolve.
Thoughts?
Bryan
Unfortunately, only the only using the primary email address you can recover an account.
Either by verifying the ownership through email verification or resetting your password in case you forgot them.
Having said that, the best we can suggest is to reach out to the owner/administrator of the email address to either provide a temporary access or do a port-forwarding so that you can recover the account.
Regards,

Hello and welcome to the Community @Bryan Poteet
A couple of questions are important here:
Are the repositories in a shared Bitbucket workspace, or in the former developer’s personal workspace?
Is the old email address part of a domain your company still controls in Atlassian Admin?
Is there any other workspace or repository admin still able to access the repositories?

it was our workspace but had different users. my access was from xxxxxx
unfortunately the domain is not in our possession at moment. A long story but short is we don’t have access to it.

I've requested assistance from a support engineer for you. They will reach out within 2 business days, although it may take longer depending on their current workload.
