Pull requests coming back to life

Our team uses the pull request feature to make code review on bitbucket, and it works very well. But sometimes, usually after a strip on the repository, some pull requests that already have been merged a long time ago, come back like they had not been merged yet. The strip is usually of an isolated branch and have nothing in common with the merged branches. Is that a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

We recently fixed this behavior and you shouldn't see it anymore.
