Project Settings > Branches doesn't exist

In https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/automatic-branch-merging-776639993.html#Automaticbranchmerging-Enableautomaticbranchmerging, we're told to:

  1. Go to Project settings > Branches.

However, there is no "Branches" in my Project Settings (cf. screenshot).

Is the issue in the doc, or at my end?

The doc you are referring to his BitBucket Data center, but you are trying to check in bitbucket cloud rite ?

For cloud variant this feature still not there you can vote here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BCLOUD-14286
