Possible to embed video in a wiki page?

dval

I have a git repository hosted on bitbucket. We are using the wiki to draft up the first round of documentation. Is it possible to embed Vimeo (or youtube) videos in the wiki?

Or am I limited to creating external links?

Apparently it's possible to embed videos from Vimeo or Youtube directly using the Widget Macro:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Widget+Macro

As far as I can tell, there is no way to embed a video that's hosted elsewhere, which is what I'm trying to do; I can't just use a macro that inserts a <VIDEO> tag & allows me to add an arbitrary video URL. (we do NOT want to host our videos on the wiki by uploading them, and they're internal so we don't want to put them on a publishing service like Vimeo or Youtube.)

Your answer regards Confluence, which != BB wiki. Is there something like the Widget Macro for Bitbucket?
