Pipeline fails because manifest :latest not found

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I am setting up a new pipeline using a private Docker repository. Every time the pipeline is executed I get this error message:
The docker repository is completely empty and never had any activity. That is probably the reason why I don't have a manifest, I think.
Can someone help me solving this error?
