I'm getting the following build error:

Attempt 1 of 6 failed.
8
Retrying in 1 seconds
9
Cloning into '/opt/atlassian/pipelines/agent/build'...
10
fatal: unable to access '<repo_name>': Could not resolve host: bitbucket.org
Upon checking the step, we also see this error message:

We couldn't clone the repository. Try rerunning the pipeline.

Even after rerunning the pipeline multiple times we are still getting the same error.

Hi and welcome to the community.

Does this pipelines step run on your own infrastructure with a self-hosted runner?

This error is most commonly due to DNS issues, but it could also have to do with firewall restrictions on the server where you run this runner.

If there's no issue with your DNS, please ensure that the IPs and domains needed for the self-hosted runner to work are added in your firewall:

Kind regards,
Theodora
