As an administrator of a team, you will always retain the rights to any repository hosted in the team. It is possible to restrict an administrator to only be able to view the administration area of a repository, but you can always add/update the permissions to that repo from the admin -> Access page of that repository. As for the finer details of managing a team, try our new documentation on the subject. We encourage your feedback and questions on it as well!
