Oldest version of Jira supported by BitBucket 7.6?

Leonard Winck

Hey there, as the title already suggests, we're currently planning our long-overdue upgrading path.

Currently, we're at Jira v7.12.1 and Bitbucket v5.15.0. Both are self-hosted server versions.

When upgrading BitBucket to v7.6, will our current version of Jira still be supported by Bitbucket, or will the application link no longer work?

From what I could gather from here and here, it should work flawlessly, as long as AppLinks is at least on version 7.2.0, right?

Hi @Leonard Winck ,

you can find the copatibility matrix for Atlassian products here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/applinks/application-links-version-matrix-779174762.html

As you can see, there are no incompatibility between Jira applinks version and Bitbucket

Let me know if this helps,

Thank you! Currently our AppLinks Plugin is on version 5.4.5, but according to this matrix, we'd need at least v7.2.0. Is that correct or am I confusing two things here?

Actually on this page you only need to check for incompatibilities (the first paragraph) : even if you do have different Applinks versions, they are most likely compatible.
